Great Western Railway Station
Great Western is a railway station of Sri Lanka at Great Western estate of Nuwaraeliya district. Great Western is high 1464m above sea level. This railway station is at between Watagoda and Randella railway stations. The train travels more meters above in Thalawakele, Watagoda and Great Western area. Railway is like angle in this area. Great Western railway station has two platforms. It has only two railway lines. One and only railway station which has two platforms and only two railways of up country railway called Great Western. Sub platform is single one and there is no bridge or any thing to move each other. Several tea estates can be seen on Great Western railway station.
Watagoda Railway Station
Watagoda railway station is at between Great Western and Thalawakeke railway stations. Watagoda railway station is wonderful railway station of Sri Lanka. Height difference between Great Western and Thalawakele railway stations is very big value. There fore train travels wide area rounded Watagoda area. Hatton railway station
Hatton railway station is big and main railway station of upcountry Sri Lanka. Hatton railway station is at between Rozalle and Kotagala raiway stations. Every train stopped at Hatton railway station. There are about 4 railway plat forms at Hatton railway station. Hatton railway station has two bridges over platforms to people and one bridge for vehicle. Hatton is very famous for Ceylon tea. Several tea estates available at Hatton place. Adamspeak (Sri Padaya) means Samanola Kanda is at 36km from Hatton. Closest railway station to the Sri Pada is Hatton. There fore December to May season is very important to Hatton railway station. Sometimes Bus services and railway services joining together and supply their service to pilgrimage visitors.
Watawala railway station
Watawala railway station is famous for local tourism of Sri Lanka. Watawala railway station situated at between Galboda and Ihala Watawala railway stations. Watawala surrounded a lot of mountains and there fore railway of Watawala is has some gapping way.
